A little of something about me...
Joy Lucas here...
I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the US in 2004 after I got married to a wonderful American man. We are now happily raising our 3 adorable children. After struggling the life of a working mom and seeing my kids missing the love and attention, I choose to give them my all when I can. Staying home and to be with them is a moment to cherish forever. We highly value the presence of a mother at home to take charge of the emotional growth and values formation of our children.
A stay at home mom can be mentally lonely so I keep my brain busy. I studied online courses to learn coding and web development. I really enjoyed the lessons and the challenges. It is worth all my time learning something I could pass on to my children. I am a tech-savvy and it is something I can take advantage to be working at home using just my computer and internet. So I self-studied digital marketing to further my knowledge of how to make extra income for the family. A stay at home mom is just temporary, so I set a goal, work hard and keep motivated so I can get there!
After learning a variety of web development classes, I proceeded to making my own website for passion and maybe doing some digital marketing. I love being at home doing what I love to do and still able to give full attention and care they need. I love to cook, and party with family and friends. Party is nothing without loads of foods and friends! They love what I make for them so I am proud to share to everyone and made a recipe for them to enjoy. We love Filipino foods, it is something everyone should try. We now live in America, so my recipes are a mix of Filipino and our favorite foreign foods.
